Wave Goodbye to the Public Health Emergency
May 11th officially ends the Public Health Emergency (PHE) as announced by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). What does this mean for home health and hospice organizations? The PHE waiver impacted visits by telehealth, admission processes, QRP and much more. Some flexibilities created during the pandemic were recently expanded by the Consolidated Appropriations Act, of 2023. Others, while critical during our initial responses to COVID-19, are no longer needed.
Join our McBee experts as they discuss which pieces of the PHE waiver will remain in effect for home health and hospice and what is coming to an end.
