This session is designed to educate clinicians responsible for providing documentation and QI coding for completion of the IRF-PAI. A review of the assessment periods for the mobility items in Section GG will be provided, along with an item-by-item review of the steps for conducting each assessment.

This course includes a handout, instructional video, and post test (passing grade is 80%). A certificate of completion will be available after passing the post test.

At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Accurately code the Quality Indicators on the IRF-PAI
  • Provide documentation to support Quality Indicator coding
