Total Normalized Composite vs Discharge Function
$ 89.00
What’s now and what’s new? The Total Normalized Composite (TNC) is currently 17.5% of the Total Performance Score (TPS) of Value-Based Purchasing (VBP), but the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) is implementing drastic changes. Even though CMS is omitting the TNC from its programs and replacing it with the Discharge Function score, the TNC scores are still important through performance year 2024.
Join our McBee experts for the low down on how the TNC works, how the scores impact the Total Performance Score and what your agency can do to improve those scores. Lastly, learn how the Discharge Function score is different and what your agency needs to do beginning in 2024, to make an impact on payment in 2025.
